zeit-protokoll
Claude's time per session, day, week and project: query it with /zeit, write it to the project if you like.
What it does
zeit-protokoll measures how long Claude Code works for you: in the current session, today and this week, broken down by project. /zeit shows the current figures, /zeit schreiben appends a table row to a log file in the project, for example to document effort in a README or as a basis for an invoice.
Everything stays on your computer, and the plugin only writes to the file when you tell it to.

What it looks like
The image is an example: the window is redrawn, the texts in it come from the plugin itself, from its real functions and tests.
Limitations
zeit-protokoll measures Claude's working time, not your own time at the computer, and is not time tracking in a legal or tax sense. With several simultaneous sessions, a response may occasionally be missing.
Settings
Retention period and log file are set in Claude Code's configuration menu or in settings.json under pluginConfigs; see the guide for details.
Requirements
- Claude Code, in the terminal or the desktop app
- Tested with version 2.1.310 on macOS - older versions may not support the plugin interface, other systems have not been tested
Installation in brief
Unzip the file and put the zeit-protokoll folder in a permanent place. To try it out, start it once in the terminal:
claude --plugin-dir ~/claude-mods/zeit-protokollPermanently, also for the desktop app: add the entry CLAUDE_CODE_PLUGIN_DIRS with the full path under env in ~/.claude/settings.json and restart Claude Code. If you use several plugins, list their paths one after another, separated by a colon (a semicolon on Windows). The full guide is included in the ZIP as ANLEITUNG.md (German).
Privacy
The plugin sends nothing to oQueo and nothing to third parties. The figures stay on your computer.
