Privacy policy

This policy describes which data is processed when you visit oqueo.io. Processing within the individual products is governed by their own privacy policies and contracts.

Version of this policy: September 2026

Controller

The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation is oQueo e.U. Full details are in the legal notice.

What this website does not do

This website sets no cookies. No tracking pixel is embedded, no advertising identifier is set and no user profile is built. Fonts, icons, stylesheets and scripts are served exclusively from our own server - there is no connection to Google Fonts or to a content delivery network. Since neither cookies nor profiles are involved, no consent banner appears on this website.

Server logs

When a page is requested, the web server processes technically necessary details: the address requested, the time, the volume of data transferred, the referring page, the browser type and the IP address. This processing takes place under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR to ensure technical operation and to defend against attacks. The logs are deleted or truncated after seven days at the latest; they are not combined with other data.

Light or dark display

If you switch the display using the toggle in the page header, your choice is saved under the key "theme" in your browser's local storage. The value never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

Audience measurement

To see which pages are being read, we use Umami, a privacy-friendly alternative to the common analytics services. Umami works without cookies, without advertising identifiers and without cross-device recognition; no personal profiles are built and no data is passed to third parties for advertising purposes.

Only aggregated details are recorded: the page requested, the referring page, the approximate region of origin at country level, device type, browser and operating system. The IP address is not stored but used only briefly to form an anonymous identifier that changes daily and allows no conclusions about you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in designing this website to meet demand, under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can object to the measurement by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser; we honour that signal.

Contact form

If you write to us through the contact form, we process the details you provide in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry is directed at a contract, otherwise your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. The details are not used for advertising and you are not added to a newsletter list. We keep the enquiry for as long as is necessary to handle it and to meet statutory retention duties.

Submission runs through a form service we operate ourselves, on our own server within the European Union. No third party is involved and your details do not leave the EU. The service checks the submission for automated entries and forwards it to us by email.

Links to other websites

This website links to the websites of the individual products and to the support portal. These links open in a new window. Data is only transmitted to the respective website once you follow a link; its own privacy policy applies there.

Processors

A hosting provider is used to operate this website, with whom a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place. The server location is within the European Union.

Encryption

This website is served exclusively over an encrypted connection. Requests over an unencrypted connection are redirected to the encrypted version.

Your rights

You have the right of access to the data processed about you (Art. 15), to rectification (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18), to data portability (Art. 20) and the right to object to processing (Art. 21). Consent given can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

To exercise these rights, contact the address given in the legal notice. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Austria this is the Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40 to 42, 1030 Vienna.
